Last week we’ve packed 4 boxes for Samaritan’s Purse UK Operation Christmas Child UK. A big Thank You to Francesca Hesse, Assistant Development Manager at Dickens yard Ealing who got us involved in this lovely initiative! With our help Dickens Yard management collected lots of amazing gifts for children affected by extreme poverty, war and living in refugee camps in appalling conditions. The gifts that we collectively donated will be distributed on Christmas morning to the Children and will be their only gift, this gift will touch the children’s hearts. All Children should feel love and warmth all year round and especially on Christmas Morning.

Congratulations and well done to Alejandro, our contract manager, for winning The WOW! Awards certificate! Alejandro was nominated by Frank, our operations director, who said that ‘Alejandro has improved the cleaning standards, working relationship between client/company also improved the paperwork and the audit scores by a massive 60%.’

Christmas Spirit is already in the air in Regular Cleaning head office!
This year we participate in Charity by Samaritan’s Purse UK – Operation ‘Christmas Child’. We’ve filled up 4 shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items and these will be distributed to Children that have very little all year round and nothing at Christmas.
A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal.

Congratulations and well done to Rodolfo Holguin, Cleaning Operative at 80 Strand who has been nominated by one of the building visitors and won The WOW! Awards certificate!
‘I’m nominating Roddy for his honesty, integrity and care. I had left a valuable ring (both sentimental and material value) by accident in a restroom. I had tried reception and they told me nothing had been found. So I’d given up. I went into the bathroom to look for it myself and I saw Roddy. I asked him about it and he knew right away. He had found it, turned it into reception who had given it to security. He took me to the lady at reception who he had given it to and the lady called control room and I was able to go and collect it from there. I believe Roddy is a real asset to your team and to the building – both in the way he interacted with me and in his honesty.’

This morning we had an amazing opportunity to attend Lewisham Council Living Wage UK Celebration Breakfast as part of the #LivingWageWeek!
Our Business Development Manager Ross and Marketing Graduate Ieva attended this event and met lots of wonderful and interesting people including the Mayor of Lewisham Steve Bullock, Cllr Joe Dromey, the Living Wage Foundation director Katherine Chapman and lots of representatives from other local businesses who are paying their employees London Living Wage.
It’s good to see that more and more businesses are recognizing the importance of paying Living Wage to help their staff live the life in London that they deserve!
