RCS – Leading The Field In ‘Green Cleaning’

October 28, 2011 by erjjio_support Leave a Comment

RCS are now able to offer a full range of environmentally friendly cleaning products to meet most situations across its client base.

These innovative products from Innu-Science are comprised of biological actives that consume waste through natural aerobic digestion and uniquely, continue to work after initial application. They are 100% Ecolabel safe and because they come in a concentrated form this minimises the use of transport and packaging.

“We are committed to being a leader in the market place for sustainable cleaning. The research we undertook in this area has provided the comfort that, in selecting Innu-Science products we have further strengthened our contribution to sustainability, but also have added a product range which really works and provides effective results”, stated RCS Managing Director David Sambrook.

“We aim to install the Innu-Science system for all new contract start ups and the planned rollout of converting existing buildings to ‘green cleaning’ continues to gather momentum, allowing more of our clients to realise the benefits of an effective cleaning regime using environmentally friendly cleaning products.”

A further ‘green’ initiative has seen RCS staff involved in carrying out audits of all paper and plastic products supplied to around seventy buildings managed by its client, Jones Lang LaSalle.

David Sambrook confirmed: “We were delighted to record that we were already achieving 96% compliance in terms of environmentally friendly products, but where this was not the case the second stage of the process involved identifying environmentally friendly alternative products and together with providing cost projections allows the FM’s to make informed purchasing decisions in switching to the green options.”

To find out more about RCS’s commitment to ‘Green Cleaning’ and the company’s use of environmentally friendly cleaning products from Innu-Science contact David Sambrook on 0208 690 4488 or by e-mail at David.Sambrook@regularcleaning.com.

Maggie’s London Night Hike

October 20, 2011 by erjjio_support Leave a Comment

Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres are for anyone who needs support with anything associated with cancer.

Regular Cleaning Services provided two cleaning operatives, at no cost to Jones Lang LaSalle, to help keep things in order once the participants had completed their night hike.

This hike culminated at 20 Gresham Street; a property where RCS provide a full cleaning and support service for Jones Lang Lasalle.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Makiesse Veza and Mr Samuel Ameyaw for the excellent work that they did that night.

The Chairman’s Cup Competition

October 14, 2011 by erjjio_support Leave a Comment

This was a golf tournament based around the Ryder Cup and was hugely successful.

Both teams had the exact same number of handicaps between them.  The morning singles match ended with a four-all tie and the afternoon doubles ended in a 3-1 win to RCS.  Which meant that RCS were able to bring that shiny Chairman’s cup home with them at the end of the day!

We would like to thank everyone who took part and those who spectated on the day.  Everyone enjoyed themselves and the teams are keeping their competitive streaks alive by citing a rematch in April 2012.  Watch this space!

South London Grass Roots Tournament

October 4, 2011 by erjjio_support Leave a Comment

All the teams that took part work alongside Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) Disability and Mental Health strand, of which RCS are the patrons.

There were seven teams that took part in the seven-a-side pre-season competition and the tournament was based around the engagement of young people in recovery of a mental health illness.

Frank went along to show support on behalf of RCS and ended up coaching one of the teams, getting fully involved and thoroughly enjoying it! Frank said: “It was encouraging to see how enthusiastic the teams were and was such an eye opener to experience the fantastic achievements made by the service users on a daily basis and I am proud to have seen this first hand.”

RCS feel that it is important that their staff understand the importance of CACT’s work and see the achievements made by the service users on a day to day basis.

Thank you to Frank for volunteering and thank you to other RCS employees for also putting themselves forward to volunteer.

Please contact gemma.taylor@regularcleaning.com should you wish to volunteer for any future events.
