All the teams that took part work alongside Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) Disability and Mental Health strand, of which RCS are the patrons.
There were seven teams that took part in the seven-a-side pre-season competition and the tournament was based around the engagement of young people in recovery of a mental health illness.
Frank went along to show support on behalf of RCS and ended up coaching one of the teams, getting fully involved and thoroughly enjoying it! Frank said: “It was encouraging to see how enthusiastic the teams were and was such an eye opener to experience the fantastic achievements made by the service users on a daily basis and I am proud to have seen this first hand.”
RCS feel that it is important that their staff understand the importance of CACT’s work and see the achievements made by the service users on a day to day basis.
Thank you to Frank for volunteering and thank you to other RCS employees for also putting themselves forward to volunteer.
Please contact gemma.taylor@regularcleaning.com should you wish to volunteer for any future events.
