RCS HELP CELEBRATE CACT’S ‘DISABILITY AWARENESS DAY’

RCS are hugely privileged to be patrons of the programme and are delighted to see the progress of the initiative being recognised on such a great occasion.

CACT have worked with more than 900 young people and adults through a variety of disability focused initiatives, including the renowned Charlton Upbeats Downs Syndrome Project.

Paralympian Andy Barrow, having represented Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics in wheelchair rugby, was introduced to the supporters as a CACT Ambassador for its disability and mental health programme, with his new role including the mentoring of young people engaged in the programme.

CACT’s work has such a positive impact in the community and RCS are thrilled to see the latest developments which we hope will be hugely beneficial to all those involved.

RCS take great pride in supporting the disability and mental health program and have been busying ourselves with a variety of fundraising enterprises. Intent on raising the £370 necessary to hit our £1000 target, RCS are holding a boot sale on 7th April to raise the money that will help to sustain the Ability Counts program.
