We are proud to announce our continued partnership with Street Trees for Living and our commitment to The School Trees Project. With 55% of the world’s population living in urban areas, working to protect green spaces, nature and trees in our towns and cities has never been more important. The School Trees Project aims to plant 200 street trees outside twenty primary schools in the winters of 2020/21 and 2021/22. Urban trees look after us by:
·        reducing toxic air mortality
·        improving mental health
·        reducing traffic
·        encouraging walking to school
·        creating a healthier and safer place for children

This year, we have planted 6 Hornbeam trees on Aldworth Grove and 4 on Hibiscus trees in Crofton Park, and they are thriving!

“It is clear that sustainability is at the heart of what you do at Regular Cleaning. It’s wonderful to see you support our passion for trees and the protection of the environment. Thank you for your ingenuity and commitment to empower others in the local community. We so appreciate your ongoing support and are very pleased with how well your trees are doing. Street Trees for Living are extremely grateful for this blossoming partnership and we are very much looking forward to working with Regular Cleaning and planting many more trees together in Lewisham over the coming years. Thank you!” – Xanthe Mosley, Chair of Trustees
